Harmonization of security-related legislation discussed in the IPA CIS headquarters

The regular session of the IPA CIS Joint Commission for the Harmonization of National Laws related to Security, Countering Emerging Threats and Challenges convened MPs and experts in the Tavricheskiy Palace.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Security and Countering Corruption of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Oleg Denisenko opened the session.
The session was attended by members of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Defense and Security, representatives of security-related bodies of the CIS, educational and research institutions, and international organizations.
The participants discussed the activities prescribed by the international cooperation programmes of the CIS member states on drafting regulations aimed at harmonization of laws in different areas.
