Model Law-Making in the field of State-Building and Local Government discussed at the IPA CIS HQ

The meeting of the IPA CIS PC on Practices of State-Building and Local Government took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on State Building, Local Government, and Regulations, Chairman of the IPA CIS PC on Practices of State-Building and Local Government Leonid Tsuprik led the meeting.

Member of the Committee of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic on Legal Policy and State-Building Fazil Agamaly, Member of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Issues of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Contacts with Fellow Countryman Yury Mischeryakov and Chair of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on State-Building and Local Government Abdurahim Holikzoda were elected Deputies of the Chair of the Commission.

The agenda included 14 issues such as draft ML on Principles of Dividing Property of the State, its Subjects and Municipal Districts and Parliamentary Oversight.

Also, the meeting reviewed the Commission Work Plan for 2019.
