Prospects of cultural and humanitarian cooperation discussed at the Forum of Regions

The third Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia featured a panel on Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation of Belarus and Russia and Common Efforts in the field of Tourism: History and Today.

The meeting brought together senior officials and MPs in the field of culture, sport and tourism including Minister of Culture of Belarus Boris Svetlov and his deputy Mikhail Portnoy, as well as Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Alla Manilova.

Chair of the IPA CIS PC on Culture, Information and Sport Sergey Rybakov attended the meeting. He shared on a number of significant joint projects implemented today in the cultural sphere.

He added that the outcome resolution noted that mutual contacts would facilitate exchanges among theaters, support film production and raising awareness on the spiritual values common for different nations.
