Valentina Matvienko Took Part in Celebration of St. Petersburg City Day

Today, St. Petersburg celebrates the 319^th anniversary of its foundation. Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko laid flowers to the monument to the founder of the city Peter the Great “The Bronze Horseman”.

The ceremony was attended by Russian senators, members of the State Duma, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy, First Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Sergey Kurdin, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of St. Petersburg and other officials.
