Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council met with the Speaker of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Valentina Matvienko noted the significance of parliamentary cooperation in the post-Soviet space. Kazakhstan is our key partner and strategic ally in the CIS area, she said. The sides also discussed the progress of implementation of the bilateral Treaty on Friendship and Alliance in the 21st century and parliamentary contribution towards the implementation process.
