IPA CIS delegation passed Valentina Matvienko’s congratulations to Pedro Agramunt on his election as President of the PA CE

Today, the IPA CIS delegation attending the Winter Session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly in Strasbourg met with Pedro Agramunt elected President of the PA CE on the previous day.

At the meeting, IPA CIS Council Secretary General Alexey Sergeev passed the letter with congratulations from Valentina Matvienko on his election in which she, inter alia, expressed hope for the strengthening of cooperation between the Assemblies.

The meeting also featured a discussion on further cooperation. Alexey Sergeev invited Pedro Agramunt to take part in the plenary session of the IPA CIS on 19-20 May.
