St Petersburg hosting the VI Nevskiy International Ecological Congress

The Nevskiy Congress is the largest environmental forum in the CIS. IPA CIS is the traditional facilitator of the Congress together with the Federation Council. Its official partner is the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, commenting the upcoming event, said: we put to discussion environmental issues that are in the focus of the international community, international organizations and practical policy-making. The serial number of the Congress, six, simply means that our approach is right: to bring together researchers, analysts, political leaders, public officials, businesses and civil activists.
