Valentina Matvienko: "Environment does not recognize boarders"

The Head of the IPA CIS emphasized the importance of keeping the balance between the industrial development and the environment. Today people are concerned how to preserve the planet clean and pursue the economic development. Valentina Matvienko added that the Plenary Session would spotlight the Strategy of the Environmental Safety of the Russian Federation up to 2025.
Nevsky Ecological Congress has become an internationally recognized event. This year it convened the record number of participants from 62 subjects of the Russian Federation and 32 countries. More than 1,000 experts and specialists participated in round tables.
Not for nothing St. Petersburg became the venue for such an event. The city has gained a lot of experience in environmental practices.
