Valentina Matvienko: "Harmonization of national laws is the mission for the parliamentarians across the world"

Yesterday, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council and Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko met with the Speaker of the Majlisi Oli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev.

The sides noted that bilateral contacts at the international level are rising. The Speakers agreed that the challenges facing the two parliaments are similar: to promote the economic growth, humanitarian cooperation and the harmonization of national laws. As we stand at the threshold of the emerging pluripolar world we support engagement and dialogue.
