Valentina Matvienko meets Galoust Sahakyan

Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, met with Galoust Sahakyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

At the meeting, Ms Matvienko noted the strong engagement of legislators in both countries through various forums including the IPA CIS, PA CSTO, PABSEC and others.

She expressed appreciation to the Armenian delegation at the IPA CIS for its active engagement, invited Mr Sahakyan to participate in the upcoming V Road Safety Congress in September and congratulated him on his election to the new post.

Alexey Sergeev, IPA CIS Council Secretary General, witnessed the meeting.
