Valentina Matvienko met with Shukurdzon Zuhurov

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council and Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko met with the Speaker of the Namayandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurdzon Zuhurov. Relations between Russia and Tajikistan are in transit to a new level of complexity. We have a good legacy of cooperation in defense and security. It is now time to focus on economic cooperation, said Valentina Matvienko. Shukurdzon Zuhurov went on to add that there is a set of important agreements in the pipeline on a broad range of issues. Shukurdzon Zuhurov is currently in Moscow with an official visit.
