Today, the Tavrichesliy Palace, the HQ of the IPA CIS, welcomed the delegates to the road safety congress.
Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko opened the plenary meeting of the road safety congress. The Congress heard welcoming addresses from Prime Minister Medvedev and the Speaker of the State Douma Sergey Naryshkin.

Recommendations of previous congresses nave been effectively implemented across the CIS. This is the best proof of the relevance of the Congress and its agenda.
