2013 Readings in the Tavricheskiy started in St Petersburg

On 11-12 December, the Tavricheskiy Palace hosts the international symposium Current Issues in Parliamentarianism: Legacy and the Present Day (2013 Readings in the Tavricheskiy).
IPA CIS Council SecGen Alexey Sergeev spoke at the opening of the Symposium. He welcomed the participants on behalf of Chairperson, IPA CIS Council, Valentina Matvienko. He underscored the importance of the present forum, especially on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the Russian Constitution, and wished the participants fruitful work and engaging discussions.
The Research Center of Parliamentary History, an IPA CIS division, has been hosting the Readings since 2007.
