Activities of IPA CIS in Field of Mountain Territories Development Presented at Forum in Grozny

On 15-17 July, the Caucasus Investment Forum (KIF-2024) was held in Grozny. About 2500 participants from 30 countries and territories took part in the event.
The main topic of the Forum in 2024 is “The Greater Caucasus: From Sea to Sea”. The agenda of the event is devoted to key issues of development of the North Caucasus District in order to ensure investment attractiveness and advanced development of the region’s economy and social sphere.
Chair of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov thanked the IPA CIS Council for the increased attention to the problem of development of mountain territories in his speech on the margins of the Forum.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat was represented at the Forum by Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology Natalia Amburtseva. At the roundtable “Development of Mountain Territories” she told about the activities of the Assembly in the field of sustainable development of territories and invited participants to take part in the II International Forum “Sustainable Development of Mountain Territories”, which is scheduled for autumn 2025.
