Business Contacts Exchange to be Expanded at Third Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”

The main attention at the Third Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” will be directed to the practical aspect of solving actual problems of large and small enterprises of light industry in the CIS countries. The participants of the working group on the preparation of the Forum spoke in favour of expanding the Business Contacts Exchange and deepening the dialogue between the producers of the Eurasian region.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy noted that the development of the business programme continued in accordance with the approved architecture. At the same time, the discussion of partner co-operation is underway.

The working group accumulates the information necessary to update the assessment of the situation in the industry and develop measures that will lead to the expansion of the range of modern competitive products in the CIS and the creation of new jobs, and consequently - to the strengthening of stability in the domestic market of goods and services in the Commonwealth countries. 

Head of the working group, Chair of the Belarusian State Light Industry Goods Production and Sales Concern Tatyana Lugina noted the growing interest of the CIS industrialists in co-operation both in the market and on the platform of the specialised forum. In her opinion, the key issues to be discussed by professionals should be the preservation and development of large and small enterprises and the protection of the domestic market.

The Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” brings together representatives of the light and the creative industry, relevant ministries and departments, professional associations, legislators and experts. This year business program includes traditional tracks: economics, production, creative industries, human resources, cultural traditions. The new track of the third forum is dedicated to beauty and health.
