Dmitriy Kobitskiy and John Entwistle Met in Tavricheskiy Palace

On 19 May 2022, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and new Head of Country Cluster Delegation of the IFRC for Russian Federation and Belarus John Entwistle discussed cooperation issues. The meeting took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters.
During the meeting, Dmitriy Kobitskiy noted that 10 years ago the organizations signed the Cooperation Agreement between the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. This document marked the beginning of active joint work both in the field of model law-making and in terms of holding common events.
John Entwistle highly appreciated the long-term cooperation of the organizations.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to the further development of bilateral relations and outlined ways for further cooperation.
