IPA CIS Сouncil Secretariat and Russian Ethnographic Museum Signed cooperation agreement

On 12 December, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the IPA CIS Council Secretariat and the Russian Ethnographic Museum.
The document was signed by Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Director of the Russian Ethnographic Museum Yulia Kupina.
The agreement provides for cooperation between the organizations in scientific, cultural and educational spheres, implementation of joint programs and joint activities to preserve the cultural heritage of the Commonwealth countries.
Representatives of the Assembly and the museum will conduct joint scientific research on actual issues of model lawmaking of the IPA CIS in the cultural and educational spheres, as well as research of problems of improving mechanisms of interaction with international parliamentary and other communities in the field of culture, science and education.
The Russian Ethnographic Museum is one of the largest ethnographic museums in Europe. Its halls and galleries contain collections devoted to history, crafts, costumes and applied arts.
