Alexey Sergeev meets Viktor Guminskiy in Minsk

The meeting went on in a cordial and friendly environment. The sides discussed the follow up to the dialogue that had been started during the conference in St Petersburg on 12 April 2-13 Role of Parliamentary Organizations in Building Europe without Divisions, as well as coordinated action in international programs and projects. Parties also discussed bilateral cooperation.

As of 1 January, Belarus holds the Presidency in the CIS under the theme Integration for Human Welfare, learning to be good neighbors, promote ecological cooperation, access to green technologies, expansion of cultural dialogue. The sides expressed confidence that closer cooperation among the CIS member nations will make a difference in terms of human welfare across the CIS.
