The Council's agenda includes more than 20 relevant issues related both to interparliamentary cooperation and the work of the IPA CIS. The main part of the Assembly will be dedicated to the discussion on our core activity – the adoption of 15 model laws. One of the key specifics of the upcoming session is the solid representation of international parliamentary organizations invited by the IPA CIS Chairperson. International delegations and their leaders are expected to meet with and be welcomed by MPs of the IPA CIS Member Nations. Therefore, their meetings will be focused on international affairs including ways and strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation, implementation of common objectives, in particular, joining efforts in combating international terrorism", said Alexey Sergeev.
