IPA CIS delegation pays tribute to victims of the Siege of Leningrad

The somber ceremony took place at the Piskarevskoe Memorial Cemetery and convened thousands of citizens.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat was represented by Deputies Secretary General of the IPA CIS: Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ayk Chilingaryan, Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khalel Bakenov, Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Petr Ryabukhin, Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Ibod Rakhimov, members of the Secretariat Andrey Baranov, Alexey Dolzhikov, Serguey Kurdin and others.
With the sounds of metronome, the IPA CIS delegation walked along the cemetery lanes which became the final resting place for hundreds of thousands of those who fell victims to the Siege.
