IPA CIS remembers the fallen in the Great Patriotic War

A solemn ceremony was held at the Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery on the occasion of the 72 anniversary of the beginning if the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the IPA CIS Valentina Matvienko, Secretary General of the UPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev and a delegation of the IPA CIS Secretariat staff members.

Piskarevskoye memorial cemetery marks the grief over the victims of the Great Patriotic War, a solemn witness of a great human tragedy and a place of public worship. The memorial is dedicated to the memory of the citizens and defenders of Leningrad fallen during the blockade of the city, lest we forget.
