Russian Orthodox Church awards IPA CIS representative

Advisor to Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Grachya Pohosyan, a promoter of the extensive activities of the IPA CIS related to the Year of Veterans and the 70th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, was awarded an honorary plaque and a medal by the Russian Orthodox Church. 

The activities are led by the IPA CIS Secretary General and include efforts to renovate and establish new monuments to the fallen heroes and awareness-raising efforts through books and films about the War.

The IPA CIS and ROC signed a cooperation agreement in May.
