The delegation of the IPA CIS Council paid tribute to the victims of air disaster

The administration of the Central District of St. Petersburg offered the book of condolence devoted to those perished in the air catastrophe.

The delegation of the IPA CIS Council with Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khalel Bakenov, Deputies head of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Dolzhikov, Sergey Kurdin, Valeriy Nuyanzin and other members of the Secretariat recorded their condolences in the book.

The book of condolence is available for representatives of foreign consulates in the office of the Administration of the Central District.

The Airbus A321, operated by the Russian airline Kogalymavia and with the registration number KGL9268, took off from Sharm el-Sheikh airport at 05:58 on 31 October. The plane disappeared from radar screens 23 minutes later while flying over central Sinai. The wreckage of the plane was subsequently located in Sinai peninsula. The plane was carrying 224 people in total, 25 of them were children.
