Basic Organisation in Field of Therapy and Preventive Medicine Will Appear in CIS

New basic organisation in the field of therapy and preventive medicine will be established in the Commonwealth of Independent Countries. The Draft Provision on this organisation was discussed at a meeting of the expert group on 28 February at the CIS headquarters in Minsk.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the CIS Executive Committee and the IPA CIS.
The experts discussed the comments received on the Draft Provision, finalized and agreed the document. It was decided to submit the Draft Provision on the basic organisation of the CIS Member Nations in the field of therapy and preventive medicine to the consideration of the CIS Economic Council.
In order to improve the health of the population of the CIS countries, focused development of scientifically based recommendations and implementation of measures for more effective prevention and timely modern diagnosis are necessary. To this end on the platform of Commonwealth the plan for 2024-2025 to implement the Health Strategy was approved.
The basic organisation will promote scientific and practical cooperation, methodical support for the activities of CIS countries in providing medical assistance in the field of therapy and preventive medicine.
