IPA CIS Delegation Participates in 146th IPU Assembly

The 146th IPU Assembly is held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. The IPA CIS delegation, an associate member of the IPU, takes part in the session. It is represented by member of the Permanent Commission on Legal Issues, member of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Chulliev and Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy.
The Assembly is scheduled to adopt resolutions titled “Cyberattacks and Cybercrimes: The New Risks to Global Security” and “Parliamentary Efforts in Achieving Negative Carbon Balances of Forests” drafted by the Standing Committee on Peace and International Security and the Standing Committee on Sustainable Development, respectively.
Representatives of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan take part in the Assembly.
