IPA CIS Spring Session to Take Place on 13-14 April in Tavricheskiy Palace

On 13–14 April, the IPA CIS spring session events will be held in the Tavricheskiy palace.
The events will be attended by CIS parliamentary delegations, representatives of international parliamentary organizations, and experts.
The heads of the CIS parliamentary delegations will take part in the meeting of the IPA CIS Council (17:00, Reading Hall). The meeting will be held under the leadership of Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko.
The members of the Council will consider the results of the Assembly’s activities in 2022, as well as the results of the monitoring of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan conducted by the IPA CIS Observer Missions.
The 55th IPA CIS plenary session will be opened on April 14 (11:00, Dumsky Hall).
The participants of the plenary session will hear reports on the improvement of the CIS regulatory framework in the field of ecology and environmental management and will consider several model laws in this field.
Parliamentarians will also discuss several documents regulating the issues of digitalization in various fields.
In addition, draft laws in the field of economics and finance will be submitted for consideration by parliamentarians.
