Meeting of CIS Council of Permanent Representatives Held in Minsk

The regular meeting of the Council of the Permanent Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth was held on 22 November at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk.

The event was attended by Chair of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev, his deputies and the CIS Executive Committee staff members via videoconferencing.

Member of the CIS Industrial Security Council, Head of the Industrial Safety Supervision Department of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Klobuk briefed on the activities of the CIS Industrial Security Council.

Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations drew the outcomes of the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government held in Astana on 28 October. As a result, the Council adopted more than 20 documents on various areas of cooperation within the Commonwealth. Among them there are the Concept of Scientific and Technological Cooperation, the Concept of Digital Transformation of the Chemical Complex Industries of the CIS Member Nations, the Regulations on the Operator of the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation until 2030, the Action Plan for the Year of the Russian Language as the Language of Inter-Ethnic Communication in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2023, the Agreement on Cooperation on Prevention and Responding to Public Health Sanitary and Epidemiological Emergencies.
