Travel HUB Forum “Commonwealth” to be held in Dagestan

The Travel HUB Forum “Commonwealth” is set to take place in Makhachkala, the Republic of Dagestan, the Russian Federation.

The event will take place on 1–2 October 2025. This platform will bring together representatives from the public sector, non-profit organisations, and businesses involved in tourism in Commonwealth countries. Participants will discuss ways to boost tourist numbers and raise the profile and appeal of the cultural and tourist attractions of the CIS countries.

The International Forum Travel HUB “Commonwealth” has been held annually since 2020. In 2024, it was held for the first time in an offsite format in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Following the event, recommendations were made to promote the development of the tourism industry and strengthen interstate cooperation to introduce sustainable development mechanisms and principles in the hospitality and tourism industry in the CIS.

Dagestan will also host the Second International Forum on the Sustainable Development of Mountain Territories, as well as meetings of the IPA CIS Permanent Commissions on Agrarian policy, Natural resources and Ecology, and Practices of State-Building and Local Government.
