New Year holidays in Azerbaijan will last until 6 January. The first working day of the year will be on Sunday 7 January.
In Armenia 1 and 2 January will be non-working days this year.
January 1 and 2 will also be holidays in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Kyrgyz citizens will have a non-working week from 1 to 7 January.
In the Russian Federation, New Year vacations will last until 8 January inclusive.
1 January will be a holiday in the Republic of Tajikistan.
In Uzbekistan 1 January is a non-working holiday according to the labour legislation.
