Kazakh MPs Supported Candidate for Prime Minister Post

Today, at the plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, attended by President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev via videoconferencing, the MPs approved the appointment of Alikhan Smailov as the Prime Minister of the country.
The MPs noted the great experience of Alikhan Smailov, as well as his close interaction with the MPs on legislative issues. Following the results of the voting, the Mazhilis approved the presidential nomination of Alikhan Smailov as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
