Kazakh Senators Ratified Agreement on Movement of Hazardous Waste across EAEU

On 10 March 2022, during the meeting of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by its Speaker Maulen Ashimbayev, the MPs adopted the Law on Ratification of the Agreement on the Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Waste through the Customs Territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to the press service of the Senate, the Agreement is aimed at regulating the cross-border movement of hazardous waste through the EAEU customs territory in mutual trade.
