Konstantin Kosachev Meets President of Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco

Chair of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Foreign Affairs, member of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation Konstantin Kosachev participated in the meeting of the chairpersons of geopolitical groups of the Inter-Parliamentary Union with IPU President Duarte Pacheco. The event took place via videoconference.
According to the press service of the Federation Council, the participants discussed relevant issues of the agenda, in particular, the holding of the World Conference on Inter-Religious and Inter-Ethnic Dialogue in Russia in 2022. The IPU President clarified that this event would be held with the support and active participation of the United Nations.
Duarte Pacheco stressed his intention to involve more actively the chairpersons of geopolitical groups in the organization’s activities.
