Mourning for Traffic Accident Victims Declared in Kyrgyz Republic

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov declared 23 August a day of national mourning in connection with the death of compatriots in a traffic accident. 14 citizens of the republic died in an accident on the territory of the Ulyanovsk region in Russia.

Secretary General – Head of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy sent a telegram of condolences to Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov.

In connection with the mourning day, the flag of the Kyrgyz Republic was flown at half-mast near the Tavricheskiy Palace – the headquarters of the IPA CIS.
