President of Turkmenistan Meets with Leadership of Tajik Parliament

On 10 May, Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali met with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a state visit to Tajikistan.
The sides exchanged views on a wide range of topical issues of Tajik-Turkmen cooperation, including political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the expansion of inter-parliamentary contacts. During the meeting, they discussed regional and international topics of mutual interest.
Today, Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Speaker of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zoir Zokirzoda. Strengthening of inter-parliamentary contacts between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan was described as an important component of bilateral relations.
