Presidential Elections in Tajikistan to Take Place on 11 October 2020

The upper and the lower chambers of the parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan held a joint meeting on 6 August 2020 and set the date for the Presidential Elections. According to the press-service of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli, the voting is scheduled for 11 October 2020.

Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali presided over the meeting. The members of both chambers unanimously supported the proposed date.
