Republic of Kazakhstan Celebrates Constitution Day

Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a public holiday. The current Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted through a referendum on 30 August 1995 and amended several times in 1998, 2007, 2011, 2017, and 2019.
On 5 June 2022, a republican referendum was held in Kazakhstan, within the framework of which amendments and additions to the Constitution were adopted.
International observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly took part in the monitoring of the referendum. They carried out their work not only on the territory of the republic, but also at foreign polling stations. The conclusion of the observer group was published on the website of the IPA CIS (in Russuian).
