Republic of Uzbekistan Improves Legislation in Field of Protecting Rights of Women and Children

Today, the 21^st plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted amendments to some legislative acts related to the ensuring rights of women in a difficult social situation.

The document introduced amendments to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Self-Government Authorities, on the Protection of Women Against Harassment and Violence and on Population census.
