Russian MPs Simplified Import of a Number of Goods

Today, members of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation adopted amendments to a number of laws aimed at supporting participants of foreign trade and improving the healthcare services.

In particular, the adopted amendments provide for changes in the regulation of the import of goods to Russia and the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). In addition, the State Duma adopted a law regulating the admission of foreign medicines to the Russian market under sanctions. The proposed provisions will facilitate and speed up the entry of necessary medicines to the Russian market, as well as minimize the risks of the impact of anti-Russian sanctions.
