Russian Senators Approved Laws Supporting Industrial Enterprises Under Sanctions

On 11 March 2022, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation amended the Law on Industrial Policy in the Russian Federation in terms of regulating special investment contracts.

According to the press service of the chamber, the Law is aimed at supporting industrial enterprises in the current conditions and stimulating investment activity to create new industrial production by resuming the mechanism of special investment contracts (SPIC).

In addition, the senators approved amendments to the Air Code of the Russian Federation and certain legislative acts to increase the stability of the transport complex in the face of sanctions pressure.
