Sahiba Gafarova and Rustami Emomali Signed Agreement on Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation

On 3 March 2022, a meeting between Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Sahiba Gafarova and Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali took place in Baku.
The parties discussed the current state of inter-parliamentary relations and prospects for their development, as well as important aspects of cooperation relations between the two countries and issues of regional importance. According to the press service of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the parties paid special attention to the issues of cooperation within the framework of inter-parliamentary organizations, including the IPA CIS, the IPU, the OSCE PA, etc.
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed the Cooperation Agreement Between the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
