Shavkat Mirziyoyev Awarded Valentina Matvienko Order of Friendship

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko with the Dustlik (Friendship) Order.
Valentina Matvienko is awarded “for active efforts and personal contribution to strengthening the relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance” between the two countries, as well as for full support for the development of inter-parliamentary relations, assistance in the effective implementation of projects of Uzbek-Russian multifaceted cooperation.
On the occasion of the awarding the high state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva sent congratulations letter to the head of the Federation Council.
The Dustlik Order is traditionally awarded in Uzbekistan to foreign political and public figures, representatives of business, culture and sports for their contribution to the development of relations with the Republic.
