Uzbekistani MPs Improved Legislation in Field of Land Relations

During the regular plenary session on 12 April 2022, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan made amendments and additions to certain legislative acts to improve the procedure of ensuring equality and transparency in land relations, the reliable protection of land rights and their transformation into a market asset.

According to the press service of the Chamber, the draft law is aimed at introduction of transparent, market-based and equal procedure for allocating lands, ensuring stability in property and legal relations in the field of land use and protection, and guaranteeing property rights of landowners. The adoption of the law will ensure transparency in lands distribution.
