Uzbekistani Senators Approved New Labor Code

Today, the plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the new Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the drafting of the document, the experience of foreign countries, including Germany, Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, Latvia, Estonia, Japan, South Korea, the CIS countries, as well as international organizations, was carefully examined.

The revised document pays special attention to the basic principles of legal regulation of individual labor relations and public relations directly related to them, discrimination in labor relations, official investigations and collective labor disputes.

The adoption of the document aims to facilitate the implementation of labor legislation in the field of small businesses and individual entrepreneurship and take into account their particularities.
