Vladimir Andreichenko Presented Results and Plans of Legislative Work to President of Belarus

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko discussed plans for MPs’ legislative work with Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko. The MPs plan to consider the draft Law on the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly on first reading this September.

Alexander Lukashenko underlined that the role of the Parliament in the new Constitution had significantly increased and that the MPs should have been ready for that.

During the recent 8^th session, the MPs considered 60 draft laws: a new edition of the Land Code, amendments to the Civil and Criminal Codes, the Law on Civil Service and other documents on economic support and redistribution of powers between authorities.
