Independence Day in Kyrgyz Republic

The Kyrgyz Republic celebrates one of the main public holidays – the Independence Day.
On 31 August 1991, the Supreme Council of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan adopted the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. According to this historical document, the Kyrgyz Republic became an independent, sovereign, democratic state.
Festive events will be held throughout the country.
