Iskhak Pirmatov was elected as Chair of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on International Affairs, Defense and Security

MP Iskhak Pirmatov, through a secret ballot, was elected as Chair the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on International Affairs, Defense and Security.

Iskhak Pirmatov was nominated by the parliamentary group Bir Bol and received 109 votes at the election.

Previously, the position of Chair the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security was exercised by Member of the Jogorku Kenesh Askarbek Shadiyev. On 6 December, the Parliament approved the candidature of Askarbek Shadiyev to the post of First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.
