Members of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic to address issues of cultural heritage

According to Jogorku Kenesh press service, the bill was sponsored by Kanybek Osmonaliyev, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

The bill introduces a concept of improving the legislation on the protection of cultural and historic heritage.

The bill pursues a regulation on drafting and adoption by the Government of the concept of cultural and historic heritage management and submitting respective reports by a dedicated Committee of the Parliament.

It is also planned to raise responsibility level of local government that is now in charge of protection and use of historic and culture heritage. The bill was transferred for voting.

The meeting also considered and transferred for voting the bill on Amendments and Additions to the Code of Civil Procedural of the Kyrgyz Republic.
