National Assembly of Belarus convenes its 7 session

V National Assembly of Belarus convened its seventh session.

Vladimir Andreychenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives, presented his welcoming remarks at the session. In his speech, he stressed the utmost importance of joint action by the governments and people and securing additional capacities for a dynamic and sustainable development. He also underscored the international dimension of the Commonwealth action during the current year of 70 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Soon the IPA CIS will host in St. Petersburg a row of commemorative events including the final ceremony of the Living Memories Tour.

At the session the IPA CIS was represented by Vikor Kogut, Deputy Secretary General, and Yury Andreyev, Permanent Representative of the IPA CIS Secretariat in Minsk.
