Republic of Kazakhstan Celebrates Independence Day

According to the law on Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Independence Day is a national holiday and is celebrated on 16-17 December. This year Kazakhstan celebrates its 28th Independence Day.
On 16 December 1991, the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan adopted the Declaration of State Souvereignty.
