Republic of Uzbekistan Acceded to Two Agreements on CIS Cooperation

In accordance with the relevant decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed on 9 December 2019, the country acceded to the two agreements on cooperation within the CIS, namely the Agreement on the CIS Advisory Board on Humanitarian Cooperation and the Agreement on the CIS Advisory Board on Inter-Regional and Trans-Border Cooperation signed at the meetings of the Council of the CIS Heads of State on 28 November 2006 in Minsk and on 10 October 2008 in Bishkek respectively.

According to the CIS Executive Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan will submit to the depositary a notification on the completion of domestic procedures required for its entry into force and on the relevant authorities of the Republic in the next few days.
